Munro Compleatists
Those who complete (compleat!) the Munros can record this fact and receive the magic number by writing in to The Clerk of The List (See here). Additionally, a list of current compleaters is published annually in the SMC Journal.

Jim reports: My first Munro was Cairn Gorm, 28th September 1987, my final Munro was Ben Chonzie on 19th May 2007, so I managed to make all the ascents within 20 years, and more importantly, I finished a few days before my
target date of my 40th birthday.
I was accompanied on my final Munro by nine friends and although the weather was terrible we had a celebratory bottle of champagne on the summit, before beating a hasty retreat back to the glen. Mark Bailey was also with me on my first Munro, and I was with Simon Love (1444) and Ruth Love (1443) on their final Munro in 1995.
