Those who complete (compleat!) the Munros can record this fact and receive the magic number by writing in to The Clerk of The List (See here). Additionally, a list of current compleaters is published annually in the SMC Journal.

Runa was joined by husband Stephen and friends Judy, Ken, Peter, Graham and Fiona.
The first Munro I climbed was Beinn Alligin during a mountaineering trip to Torridon in April 1992. In 1994 I passed my MLTB Mountain Leader Summer Award. In 1996 I moved to Scotland from England and in 1997 I became a supervisor for the Gold Expedition of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme for St Columba’s School in Kilmacolm.
I continued to climb Munros repeating many of them on numerous occasions. However around 10 years ago my friend Dr Judy Semple and I realised that we had now climbed a significant number of Munros. We then set out to climb the remaining Munros both for the enjoyment of discovering new areas of Scotland and for the challenge, satisfaction and sense of achievement that we experienced after a good day or several days in the hills.
