This online winter climbing mini-guide covers attractive and popular granite cliff of Creagan Cha-no, which lies tucked under the east flank of the Sron a’ Cha-no spur on Cairn Gorm overlooking Strath Nethy. It lies less than 2km away from the Coire na Ciste car park and the approach takes just over an hour. The crag is up to 70m high and sports over 60 mixed winter routes, ranging from Grade II to VII. Perfect for early season mixed, and for a short day. Most of the major features have been climbed, but there is potential for many shorter lines.
